Tuition & Financial Aid
West Chester Friends School has one tuition for all grade levels which is consistently in the mid-range of tuition charged at peer schools in the area. A student's tuition may be adjusted if the family shows demonstrated financial need. To apply for Financial Aid, go to the School Scholarship Service for Financial Aid (SSS) web site and complete the Parents' Financial Statement. The report generated by SSS is required to help the WCFS Financial Aid Committee determine any award.
Please indicate on the Application for Admission and tell the Admissions Office if you are seeking aid. Awards are made to current families first, and then to new applicants. Funds may not remain after February 1. Early requests and on-time information is very helpful. The School advises to apply for Financial Aid at the latest by early January. Quaker families please tell the Admissions Office if you are seeking Monthly, Quarterly and/or Philadelphia Yearly Meeting support funds.
Tuition may be satisfied by families through these payment plans:
- Cash Payment (1% discount, excluding deposit)
- Credit Card: Discover, American Express or Master Card
- Semester Payment Plan (July 15 and December 15)
- Monthly Payment Plan ($150 processing fee / direct debit option)
Tuition Insurance is offered through the optional Tuition Refund Plan underwritten by One Beacon Insurance Group.
