PTO

 

West Chester Friends School families become members of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) through a fee paid with tuition, but membership doesn't end there!  The PTO welcomes every parent who would like to take part in its activities.  PTO activities have two important purposes: to promote a closer relationship among WCFS families and between families and teachers, and to generate funds for materials and equipment to enhance the School's program.  The PTO funds professional development, including travel, for teachers, and assemblies for students.

 

*Game Night is set for Friday, February 24th!  Please get your pizza order forms in by Wednesday, February 22nd.  The pizza will come from Brothers, and there are gluten free options available!  Drinks and desserts will be provided by the PTO.

 

*Don't miss WCFS Night at Iron Hill Brewery, on Wednesday, February 29th, from 5 to 9.  Give your Give 20 coupon to the server (available through the development office, 610-696-2820) and twenty percent of the cost of your meal (without alcohol) will be donated back to the school.  Coupons cannot be handed out at the restaurant so don't forget to take yours with you!


*The next PTO meeting is set for Wednesday, April 11th at 8:15 am.  Children are welcome!

 


 
*West Chester Friends School now has an account at Butterflies and Blossoms.  In case you are not familiar, they are a consignment shop off of West Chester Pike and 5 Points Rd. that specializes in children's, maternity and specialty toys.  When you tell them you are from WCFS proceeds from all of your sales go directly to the school.  For more information about their location and their standards for resale visit:  http://butterfliesandblossoms.net/
