Happily playing, creating and learning, the children at The Friends Play School explore enriched Art and Literature play-based experiences, rooted in the Quaker values of Peace, Equality, Community, Simplicity and Service.

The Friends Play School encourages young children to problem solve and develop strategies for understanding their world.  Creative play and guided learning support social and emotional growth.  Recognizing emotions, expressing feelings and needs verbally and being respectful of friends and property are modeled by by loving teachers and encouraged in the children.  Group play activity is a cornerstone of the Friends Play School philosophy, so that all children in the group feel welcome.

West Chester Friends School preschoolers enjoy enriching experiences on our elementary school campus: studio art, music, outdoor play, library and story time, "field trips" around campus, special visitors and appropriate assemblies, concerts and special events.

Five Full Days: $13,500

Full Day Monday, Wednesday & Friday: $8,700

Full Day Tuesday & Thursday: $6,150

Mornings Five Days: $8,100

Mornings M-W-F: $5,220

Mornings T-Th: $3,690

A healthy morning and afternoon snack is included.
