West Chester Friends School

Our Community

West Chester Friends School students and their families, and faculty and staff, enjoy a palpable sense of community on campus, and emphasize the value of reaching out to the greater community, as well.  Parent-teacher partnerships, buddy programs between the oldest and youngest students, and intergenerational programs with the Hickman retirement home, are distinguishing features of this learning community.

Operating on this site for over 170 years, the School maintains important academic, cultural and civic connections with our neighbors, and classes often walk to utilize local resources including museums, art galleries, historical sites and municipal buildings.
