West Chester Friends School

A thousand thanks to Teachers Ruth, Kathy, Caroline and Mary Claire for all their work in coordinating the Bread Pudding Festival!  It was a delicious night of coffee, conversation and calories, featuring bread puddings of all stripes: eggnog, berries, traditional and Tastykake among them, with hard sauces and whipped cream, sweetened and not!  After much deliberation (and tasting!), judges Jamie and Cheryl McVickar chose Betty Forcey's yummy traditional bread pudding as the winner!  We are all already looking forward to next year!

HERE'S WHAT'S COMING UP AT WCFS!

*Family Game Night is this Friday, February 24th!  Get your pizza order forms in by Wednesday, please...pizza comes from Brothers, and there is a gluten free option! This year, we will include a Family Trivia Game, with cool questions on February events like Black History Month and Valentine's Day, as well as West Chester Friends School!

*On Wednesday, February 29th, the PTO is sponsoring WCFS Night at Iron Hill in West Chester.  Bring your Give 20 coupon (available through the development office at WCFS--610-696-2820) and twenty percent of the cost of your meal (alcohol not included) will be donated back to the school!  Coupons may not be handed out at the restaurant, so remember to take it with you!
