West Chester Friends School

 Community service is an integral part of the WCFS curriculum and daily life. Students regularly visit with our neighbors at The Hickman, a senior living community.  Student Council coordinates all-school service efforts in which students knit scarves, mittens and hats for the homeless, and participate in collecting food, books, paper products and school supplies for those in need.  Students support international service efforts as well, sending school supplies to children in countries around the world. 

Community Service Updates 

Students who participated in T. Michelle's baby hat knitting activity delivered 72 hats to the nursery at Chester County Hospital on May 13.  Well done!

Congratulations to the girls in T. Amy's Running With Friends program who collected more than 1,000 pairs of shoes for the Soles for Souls project!
